My Dad.

My dad was a big man. Big in physical appearance, he had a big personality, and at times a big temper, but most of all: he was big in heart. It’s only fitting to me that the last words I heard my dad speak were “I love you with all my heart.” And I know that he did. I feel grateful to have had such a loving dad in my life. I have so many stories to share about my dad, but mostly, I feel so lucky to have been able to spend so much time together with him in his final year of life. We went to the Magic Kingdom last Christmas and had such a great time. We took him on the new Orlando Eye sightseeing wheel and visited Clearwater Beach Aquarium to see the dolphins Winter & Hope, after Connor and Lawson watched the movie A Dolphin Tale with their Grandpa Larry. There wasn’t anything that my dad wasn’t willing to do for me or my family, or for anyone, for that matter… I can confidently say he was the most generous person I know, and he would give the shirt off his back if needed. We will all miss him so much. I already miss his voice and wish I could talk with him just one more time. I love you, Dad. Thanks for everything.
