The World is a lot emptier today..... When Larry got off a plane in Tampa where he was sent by his new employer in late 89 or 90 to meet and train with me here in Fla, he greeted me with the words, "So I hear you don't like fat guys, Mr runner man? " ....as he was getting into my car....I was speechless....then, "well, you ain't so pretty either!" We both started laughing our butts off and became instant friends. The next thirty plus years were full of ups and downs as we both traversed different jobs and companies and life's bumps in the road, including Larry's bouts with cancer, but they were always filled with laughter and good times because of him....I could fill this page with stories of where we traveled and the times we had. And so could most of you reading this...We talked about everything when we traveled on business or with our families along. Larry would always talk about Judy and his lovely daughters. He always said his Family came first. (Judy is an angel...I watched her care for him this last year....that is love).....
Larry and I went to a Super bowl in Miami, whitewater rafted down the Colorado River, rode a corvette through the Rockies, started a company together, went on cruises in the Caribbean. ...you know those friends you could count on one hand?? the ones who you may have not talked to for four or five months and then run into or text like you saw them yesterday without skipping a beat?? That's Larry... He had tons of friends like that....I have few... He was one of them....The World is a lot emptier today...
