Walter Phelps "Walt" Senter II
Walter Phelps Senter II, 77, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Parker Adventist Hospital following a brief illness.
Born August 17, 1937 in San Francisco, California to Walter Phelps and Phyllis (Leonard) Senter. Walt's early years were full of adventure as his father's position as a radiologist in the U.S Army took the family to various cities, such as Carmel, California and Vancouver, Washington. Through his career in finance, Walt met his first wife and mother of his children, Mary Antoinette Petersen. In 1989, Walt met and fell in love with his soul mate and second wife, Jody.
He was an avid tennis player, chess aficionado, and overall intellectual throughout most of his life. He loved movies, Frank Sinatra, Hershey Bars, classic cars, a good cut of beef, and most of all, his family.
He leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Jody (Harre) Senter; his son Walter P. Senter III, along with his daughter-in-law Melaura, grandson Leland and granddaughter Kaitlyn; his daughter Tracy Sarkissian, along with son-in-law Mike and grandsons Julian and Kingsley; his stepdaughter Dolly Judge and grandson Austin; his step-son Jack Addison and grandson Chris and granddaughter Karli; and step-daughter Jody Miller and son-in-law Kevin, along with Kevin's daughters Angela and Jennifer and their families.
