Obituary for
James Stuart Burrill
Loving and devoted husband of Suzanne (Hurst) Burrill, devoted father to Steven Burrill (Elizabeth), Keith Burrill, and Derek Burrill, loving stepfather to Justin Hurst, Jeremy Hurst, and Chris Kroll. Admired and loving brother to Rick Cloutier and Jeffrey Burrill, & his much adored grandkids, Davis, Garret, & Mason Burrill, Odin Hurst and Lauren Kroll. Preceded in death by wife, Joyce (Brown) Burrill, both his parents and brother, Robert Cloutier. He proudly servied as a US Marine in Vietnam. Jim recently retired as a senior VP at National Cinemedia, & prev. retired from Lockheed Martin. Past employment allowed him to travel to and live in many states in the US and abroad. He graduated with a BS from Univ of Conn. and attended advanced degree courses at several universities in CO. Jim loved all animals, his dogs, kids, reading, traveling, the outdoors, and was looking forward to retiring to a warm climate in Fla. Jim made many friends wherever he went and will be greatly missed by so many people. He lived with a strong faith in God & a strong code of ethics and fairness. There will be private cremation.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 2nd at 6:30 pm at Southeast Christian Church in the Solomon Bldg, 16965 Pine Lane, Parker, CO. 80134. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to www.rescuedforlife.org or the American Cancer Society.
